Introduction to Pelote Basque, surfing lessons on the beach in Biarritz, a visit to the aquarium in Biarritz – the social programme will keep you busy! Every day, the school offers exciting activities to experience the Basque lifestyle and its ancient traditions with you, including lots of sports (both in and out of the water) and visits to the Ocean Museum of Biarritz, the Caves of Sare or the Adventure Park. At weekends, you will set off to explore local villages and cities like Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz or Bayonne. Your evenings will be busy as well, with movie nights, and sports competitions on the sports fields.

COURSE PLUS COOKING

French cuisine is world-famous – now is your chance to master it and bring it home with you! This programme will give you the essentials of French cooking while learning the vocabulary to make you an authentic French chef. Impress your friends and family with culinary and linguistic excellence!

Programme Students will make delicacies and pastries that are popular locally, nationally, and worldwide – such as macarons, Breton Far, chocolate mousse, Gateau Basque, flambéed crêpes, fruit pies, tiramisu, and muffins. creating salads and sauces. brief explanations of the theory of cooking. The recipes are provided to students so they can make the meals at home afterwards.

COURSE PLUS HORSE RIDING

Feel the Atlantic breeze against your face while you ride your horse through the fields and forests of Biarritz, or simply learn this rewarding sport for the first time from experienced, qualified teachers. Combine your horse-riding adventure with French lessons, and you can have a summer that’s both educational and fun.

Programme This programme consists of daily French lessons alongside three horse riding lessons per week. Experienced riders will be able to have one lesson per week through the surrounding fields and forests.

Materials Students should bring solid/sports shoes, long trousers, and a rain jacket.

Location Horse riding centre outside the residence

Timing Horse riding lessons will be held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

COURSE PLUS WATERSPORTS

With wavy Atlantic waters and a pleasant climate – Biarritz attracts plenty of surfers every year, and this programme is your chance to join them! Smash your language objectives in the morning while smashing waves in the afternoon in this innovative programme that combines surfing with French!

Programme This programme includes detailed French lessons alongside three surfing lessons per week. Each lesson is adapted to the experience of the student.
