CRM Manager

We are currently looking for a CRM Manager based in Barcelona.
 
Job overview
Your mission will be to ensure that ESL’s CRM system provides timely, accurate information to manage the company’s Sales, Admissions and CRM-related Marketing activities.
 
The CRM Manager will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, IAC and IT departments, to provide strategic recommendations and insight in order to continuously improve and refine the performance of our CRM system. As CRM manager you will be a key team member or leader of company-wide projects such as CRM, Client Area and Leads. You will provide strategic and operational input to these projects.
 
Main tasks:

 
  • Ensure that the CRM meets the company’s strategic objectives for Sales, Marketing and IAC workflow and reporting
  • Improve processes around the usage of the CRM, by continuously evaluating, monitoring, coaching, performing spot checks and developing best practices
  • Manage and coordinate, from the user perspective, all development and enhancement projects related to the Argo CRM and related tools and provide regular support to CRM users
  • Provide strategic input to the Head of Sales, Marketing and IAC regarding training, resource requirements and best practices regarding CRM tools
  • Design and prepare Sales and Marketing reports and dashboards which provide comprehensive analysis of performance
  • Prepare user and best practices documentation and training with respect to activities surrounding the CRM system
  • Create and maintain the relevant data in the CRM, such as form letters, templates, automatic paragraphs, postal and other demographic data and other codes and information relating to the Argo CRM
  • Prepare exception reports and follows up with the sales staff to ensure compliance with best practices
  • Ensure the quality of all standard messages and texts are effectively coordinated with the Marketing and Products so that all CRM communications meet the company’s highest quality standards, while addressing local market requirements
  • Ensure the highest level of data integrity, quality of usage and best practices, to enable Top Management to make sound strategic decisions based on the analysis obtained through the CRM system
  • Travel regularly to the Montreux and Barcelona Headquarters and other key locations such as sales offices, to perform training, coaching and quality checks 

Your professional skills:
 
  • You have a university-level bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Management Science, or professional equivalent
  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
  • You are extremely proficient in the use of computers and standard office software, with extensive experience using a modern CRM system
  • You have expert-level knowledge of Excel, Business Intelligence tools and/ or CRM report writing tools
  • You have direct experience in sales and sales management in the education or travel sectors
  • You master written and spoken English, as well as at least one other major European language, including the language spoken at the job location (French or Spanish)

We are currently looking for a HR Manager based in our Head Office in Barcelona.
 
Job overview
In direct contact with the Head of HR in Montreux (Switzerland), your main mission will be to execute the global ESL HR strategy and be the contact HR person in Barcelona Head Office.
 
Main tasks:
 
  • You will actively participate in the development of our international recruitment strategy and lead processes for our Barcelona Head Office.
  • You will be in charge of the coordination of the recruitments for our Head Office in Barcelona, which involves the contact with external partners and tools (recruitment agencies, job boards providers, social medias, etc.) preparing of the job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, screening potential candidates and realising first interviews
  • You will support the development and implementation of policies (working conditions, health & safety, performance management, absence management, etc.) and replies to the questions of managers and employees

IT Network Engineer

Job overview
We are currently looking for an IT Network Engineer who will be responsible for the technical management and administration of the ESL and affiliate IT networks (LAN and WAN) in over 55 locations in Europe, Latin America and New Caledonia.
 
Your main goal will be to ensure that the network is secure, highly available and offers optimal performance. You will propose and implement cost-effective solutions to allow us to implement long-term IT strategies, and you will install, configure and maintain network hardware and software and provide level 2 and level 3 support for network and system-related issues.
 
Main tasks:
 
  • You ensure efficient and effective communications with the IT Operations and Support Manager and other members of the IT team.
  • You ensure that the company’s network (LAN, WAN) functions efficiently and with minimal down-time.
  • You ensures that the company’s VoiP system, business applications and services function efficiently on the ESL network.
  • You create and update configurations for network hardware and software.
  • You conceive, install and maintain performance and bandwidth monitoring solutions.
  • You participate, with the IT Operations and Support Manager, in the elaboration of active and passive security solutions for the entire ESL and affiliate’s network.
  • You participate, with the IT Operations and Support Manager, in the elaboration of a disaster recovery plan.
  • You participate in company-wide projects, including migration of ESL and affiliate services to the cloud, with particular accent on network bandwidth, latency and availability to provide adequate performance.

Your experience:
 
  • You possess a Bachelor’s or high technical school diploma in Information Science with specialization in network technologies.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience administering a complex network environment.
  • You have a Certified Sonic Wall or Cisco administrator or equivalent through professional experience. 

Your professional skills and education:
 
  • You have a detailed knowledge of network protocols, hardware, software and firmware.
  • You master UNIX / Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of VoIP.
  • Knowledge of Mac OSX is an advantage.
  • You are a French or English mother tongue or equivalent and with a good working knowledge of the other: any other languages (Spanish, German or other) are considered a plus.

You will report to the SEO Manager and a very creative, flexible and proactive approach to your work will be required. You will be based in our Barcelona office as part of a small team of multi-lingual Regional Online Marketers, in liaison with our Montreux Headquarters.

Bournemouth is een aangename stad met een mooi strand, veel sportmogelijkheden en prachtige tuinen. Mijn verblijf van twee weken was een geweldige ervaring. Ik volgde lessen aan Kings School. Om mijn franse taal te perfectioneren deed ik beroep op ESL, die mij heel snel en doeltreffend hielp met het uitzoeken van de beste opties. Een vriendin deelde haar ervaringen met ESL, zo kwam ik dan ook terecht bij deze organisatie. Vooreerst bezocht ik de site die heel overzichtelijk is en waar je eigenlijk alle essentiële informatie kan vinden naar waar u op zoek bent. Daarna kon ik telefonisch een afspraak maken en langsgaan op kantoor te Antwerpen. Alles verliep vrij vlot en we kregen meteen alle gewenste details en uitleg. Eens aangekomen in Tours kon het allemaal beginnen. Het “Institut de Touraine” is ongetwijfeld een aanrader! De professoren zijn heel enthousiast en de ligging van het instituur is excellent. Zelf startte ik met een onzettend laag niveau maar kon na drie maanden afsluiten met een grote portie Franstalige kennis. Om af te sluiten wil ik het nog even over Tours zelf hebben, die zeker even belangrijk is. Het is een historische stad die heel mooi gelegen is tussen de Loire en de Cher. Heb enorm genoten van de vele kastelen en de prachtige natuur langs de uitgestrekte rivieren. Mijn Frans gastgezin was ontzettend vriendelijk/behulpzaam en alles wat je daarnaast nog nodig hebt. Kortom, een verblijf om heel tevreden op terug te blikken.

Ségolène Vriet

Ik was 8 weken in Montreal om mijn Engels te perfectioneren. Ik heb gekozen voor de ILSC school, die is gevestigd in het Oude Montreal. Van mijn keuze heb ik helemaal geen spijt en deze school beveel ik van harte aan. Het pedagogische team is top, alle lessen zijn heel boeiend. De aangeboden activiteiten zijn afwisselend. Ik heb twee bijeenkomsten bijgewoond, waarmee ik mijn woordenschat aanzienlijk heb kunnen vergroten. Bovendien ben ik veel meer op mijn gemak bij het spreken. Tegelijkertijd heb ik leuke mensen leren kennen, afkomstig uit alle vier de windstreken, ik ben met ze bevriend geraakt en dankzij de social media blijf ik met ze in contact, en ook met mijn docenten!

Montreal is een heel mooie stad, die ik heb ontdekt terwijl het sneeuwde en dat was een ervaring die ik nooit meer vergeet. Het is een Frans-Amerikaanse cultuurmix, de mensen zijn erg gastvrij. Het voordeel van Montreal is dat het niet zo’n enorme stad is als Toronto, Parijs of New York, alles ligt zo’n beetje bij elkaar en er zijn talloze plaatsen om te bezoeken.

Ik logeerde in een studio van de Trylon Appartementen, dichtbij de Place de Arts, heel centraal gelegen.

Deze ervaring is zeer verrijkend en heeft me veel opgeleverd (zowel op menselijk vlak als op taalgebied). Montreal is een verrassende stad. Ik wil er snel nog eens naar toe. Dank je wel ESL en in het bijzonder Manon en Marie-Eve ;)
