Our partner school is located in the Back Bay district, near Charles River and the Boston Public Garden, a beautiful green space in the heart of the city. Close to the school, the charming Newbury Street and Boylston Street are full of art galleries, chic boutiques, good restaurants and shops. Just nearby, you will also find bookshops and numerous cafés for meeting your friends after classes. Only 5 minutes away from the school, the Arlington Street underground station offers you an excellent departure point for heading off to explore the beautiful capital of Massachusetts. The school has 18 bright classrooms, common areas and a large student lounge where you can relax and meet other students. A language lab with several computer terminals and free Internet access is also available to students for their use.

Accommodatie

Host family
Living with a host family is an excellent way to immerse yourself in the local culture during your stay in Boston. It will also provide you with the daily opportunity to practise your English in informal, authentic contexts. Our partner school carefully selects host families, who generally live around 45 minutes away from the school. You will stay in a single room with half board provided.

Residence "ESL Townhouse" (from 18 years)
You also have the possibility of sharing with other international students. ESL Townhouse, located only 20 minutes away from the school in a quite street at the heart of the Fenway district, proposes single or double rooms in small apartments which are shared by a maximum of 3 students. Each apartment has a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room and common telephones. The building is equipped with a WiFi connection and a laundry room (paying use). Bedlinen and bath towels are provided and a cleaning service of the common areas takes place twice per month.

"International Guest House" Residence
The residence is located only a few minutes from the school, in the heart of the Back Bay district, and offers shared rooms with half-board. The house has all of the facilities you could wish for, with shared bathrooms, a common room with a TV, a microwave oven, a washing machine, air-conditioning, and even a piano and a WiFi connection throughout the entire building. This accommodation option is a dream opportunity to meet and share experiences with people from all over the world and to stay in the city-centre. Prices on request.

Vrije tijd

A leisure program is available for students wishing to explore the city and its wide range of museums, prestigious universities and numerous other attractions. Sports fans will not be disappointed in this city that welcomes great baseball, basketball and ice hockey teams. Excursions are also offered on the weekends, when you can discover Boston’s surrounds: New York, Montreal or Niagara Falls are on the program…

Getuigenis

Christina Julia Sinkwitz Mijn ervaring met ESL is zeer positief geweest. De werknemers zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam. De docenten creëren een ontspannen omgeving die ons hielp ons te concentreren. Ik hield bijzonder van de activiteiten buiten de lessen en zag er met ongeduld naar uit om aan de cursus « Pompoenen kerven » mee te doen.

Boston is top en perfect voor culturele activiteiten. De stad is echter niet ideaal voor jonge studenten die s’avonds uit willen gaan. Dat kan men als een beperking zien, vooral als men daar niet aan gewend is. Maar de school is me erg goed bevallen (programma en uurrooster). Ik zou graag nog een keer naar Boston willen terugkeren.
